Surabaya is a second metropolis city in Indonesia. It's the capital city of East Java. Surabaya is a reference of East Indonesian Region in the field of industry, trade, education and also ocean.
In Indonesian history, Surabaya has a big role in freedom struggle of Indonesia. Once upon a time, something that would be an unforgettable moment by this nation is the struggle of people in Surabaya known as the "10 Nopember 1945" incident.
The well known spirit of "Rawe-rawe Rantas Malang-malang Putung" had driven the citizen of Surabaya to fight against the Ally troops which is intruded by NICA. This troops had a mission to take over Surabaya once again. In this incident, the ally general, Mallaby, was killed. They torn the blue color of Dutch's flag in the hotel and set it in the Yamato Hotel. Because of that incident, people of Surabaya or who has ever settled in Surabaya proudly being called "Arek Suroboyo".
To memorize the spirit of people in Surabaya at the moment, built a monument called "TUGU PAHLAWAN" in the heart of Surabaya. This monument has been a symbol of Surabaya for years.
Geographically, Surabaya locate on a tropical area. So, it can be easily visited through the air, the sea and also from the land transportation. It takes around 9 hours from Jakarta using railway train and 1 1/4 hour using plane. The East and North of Surabaya are directly facing the Madura Strain. They form coastal area along the beach.
The Surabaya citizen is now around 2.941.820 people living in this city which is 90 people / Hectare dense, and grows around 1,749% /year. The citizen of Surabaya consists of a plural culture. The most are came from Javanese and Madurese. But these cultures have been living for years in peace. It's so, because of the people's characteristic is open mind. They prefer to say something they don't loke to others rather than keeping in their mind as a venge.
Surabaya has been the center of industry for the area surrounding the city, extending to the East Indonesia. The regions, e.c. Tandes, Benowo, Asemrowo, Rungkut (PT. SIER), Gunung Anyar are the main industrial areas which consists of food, trade, chemical, cloth, etc.
Surabaya is a maritim city which is well known since the Kingdom of Majapahit. At that moment trade activity concentrate in the Ujung Dock, which is now known as Tanjung Perak Harbor. As a second biggest harbor in Indonesia, many kinds of supporting industry such as shipment and workshop fascilities are built in the area. P.T. PAL as a repair shop and ship building has turned into a trend settler from many other similar commpany in Indonesia.
Along with the progress of industrial sector, the economic rate of Surabaya growth rapidly. The growth is around 7,5 % per year. Many trades center can be found is Surabaya. Some of them are the Tunjungan Plaza, World Trade Centre (WTC), Tunjungan Centre, Surabaya Plaza, Jembatan Merah Plaza, Surabaya Mall dan Galaxy Mall.

DEVADATA berdiri pada pertengahan tahun 1997 dan solid pada tanggal 10 maret 1998. arti dari devadata sendiri berarti sifat buruk manusia, tanpa sifat buruk manusia tidak akan sempurna. musik dari kami lebih condong ke hardcore style old school-new school dan unsur-unsur alunan thrash metal. pada era tahun 2000an kami membuat split album dalam bentuk cassette dengan band dari surabaya sendiri yaitu baby dolls. kemudian lama kami tidak mengeluarkan full length album, maka di tahun 2006 dengan title "emotional breakdown" adalah album kami yang terbaru dalam bentuk cassette. dan pada tahun 2009 "emotional breakdown" dirilis ulang dalam bentuk full length cd oleh no label records dari surabaya. dan sekarang dengan formasi baru dengan dibantu oleh ryan (guitar) dan roy (bass) kami prepare untuk record new album kami, juga dengan materi baru. Artist : DEVADATA.

Corey Todd Taylor lead vocal of "SLIPKNOT"

Corey Todd Taylor (born December 8, 1973) sometimes known by the number 8, is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of Slipknot and Stone Sour. Taylor was raised by his single mother. He developed a fond feeling toward classic rock after his grandmother introduced him to it. Taylor first met his father on March 28, 2005, and the two have developed a strong relationship. He currently has a wife, an ex-wife, and two children. By the release of Stone Sour's Come What(ever) May, he was sober. On August 3, 2009 and July 29, 2010 he co-hosted the Kerrang! Awards alongside Scott Ian of Anthrax and The Damned Things.
Corey Taylor is a founding member of Stone Sour, and has released three studio albums with the band. Taylor joined Slipknot in 1997 to replace their original singer Anders Colsefni. He has released four studio albums with the band. Taylor constantly alternates between bands, as seen in 2001, after the release of Iowa, where he rejoined Stone Sour immediately after touring. He has worked with several bands, including Junk Beer Kidnap Band, Apocalyptica, Anthrax, Soulfly, and Avenged Sevenfold. Taylor writes and sings in styles that vary by genre. He is well known for his four octave vocal range Taylor was ranked number 86 in Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.

SLIPKNOT

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1995, the group was founded by percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in their early days, the band consisted of nine members for the greater part of their tenure: Sid Wilson, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor. However, the death of Paul Gray on May 24, 2010, left the band with only eight remaining members. Former guitarist Donnie Steele will be the band's touring bassist in 2011.

Slipknot is well known by their attention-grabbing image, aggressive music style and their energetic and chaotic live shows. The band had somewhat of a meteoric rise to success following the release of their self-titled debut album in 1999. The 2001 follow-up album Iowa further increased the band's popularity. After breaking for their first hiatus, Slipknot returned in 2004 with Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) and once again in 2008 with their fourth album All Hope Is Gone, which debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200. The band has also released one live album and four DVDs. As of May 2010, Slipknot has sold over 14 million records worldwide.

SUICIDE SILENCE

Suicide Silence is an American extreme metal band from Riverside, California. The group consists of vocalist Mitch Lucker, guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, drummer Alex Lopez and bassist Dan Kenny. Formed in 2002, the band has released two full-length studio albums, three EPs, six music videos and in 2009, the group was awarded with two of the Revolver Golden God awards. 

Formation, debut EP and The Cleansing (2002–2008)

Suicide Silence were founded in 2002 in Riverside, California and were at that time, a side-project of many of the members of other groups. The band performed their first show at a local area within Riverside and at that time, the line-up consisted of the members Chris Garza and Rick Ash as guitarists, Mike Bodkins as bassist, Josh Goddard as drummer and two vocalists, Mitch Lucker and Tanner Womack. Shortly after their first performance, Womack was fired from the band and they released their first demo the following year. They released their second demo in 2003. After the replacement of Josh Goddard in 2004, the members took the band more seriously and were no-longer deemed as a side project. They would then advance to record their third and final demo in 2005. Following within 2005, the band released their first public release entitled, Suicide Silence EP which was released in the United Kingdom through Third Degree Records and later re-released through the English label In at the Deep End Records and in the US through SOS Records.

Two years later, the band signed to Century Media and released their debut full-length album The Cleansing.The album was recorded with Krissan Duwason, mixed by Tue Madsen, produced by John Travis and features artwork by Dave McKean. It debuted at number 94 on the Billboard 200,selling 7,250 copies in its first week of release.The sales of that week ending combined with its later sales made The Cleansing one of the best-selling debut albums in Century Media history. With the success of their debut album, Suicide Silence were included to take part in Mayhem Festival that took place during the summer of 2008. They toured Europe with Parkway Drive and Bury Your Dead, following a successful US tour with the same bands. Also touring with Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and The Acacia Strain in mid-2008 during the time when they were included to perform at Sweat Fest. At this point Suicide Silence were beginning to gain a wide range of fans throughout the world. The band covered the song "Engine No. 9" by Deftones that appeared on their debut album Adrenaline, Suicide Silence released the cover on their limited edition second EP Green Monster as well as iTunes all during the same                   year.                                                      

The story of A7X

Avenged Sevenfold is an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1999, the group consists of vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ. Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet but their style had evolved by their third album and first major label release, City of Evil into a hard rock sound. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self-titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of now-former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released and toured in support of their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, their first number one debut. To date, Avenged Sevenfold has released five studio albums, one live album/compilation/DVD, and eighteen singles and sold more than four million album worldwide.The band has received much credit for their worldwide mainstream success and were featured as second place on Ultimate Guitar's Top Ten Bands of the Decade.
